For Ford Driving Skills for Life Vietnam, I conceived and created a series of illustrated flashcards that turn essential first-aid knowledge into clear, immediate visual guidance, made available in both physical and digital formats for drivers, road users, students and the wider public.

Clarity with precision
Working closely with our Medical Advisor Dr Ngo Duc Hung, our conversations centred on the relationship between accessibility and anatomical accuracy. Dr. Hung first pictured a younger, more childlike visual language. I then developed it into something contemporary enough for a broader audience, while keeping medical accuracy at its core. The illustration style evolved around recognisable proportions, precise gestures and carefully controlled detail, allowing hand placement, posture and movement to carry the instruction clearly.

~50,000 physical copies distributed, alongside nationwide reach digital file.
The flashcards have since reached drivers, Ford owner communities, schools and educational centres across Vietnam, extending the project into an everyday resource for first-aid learning.
Campaign context
The series was released within Ford Vietnam’s wider first-aid initiative, alongside instructional video content and a separate body of work by illustrator Thành Phong.
